True Blue Power®, a division of Mid-Continent Instrument Co., Inc., is taking aviation to new heights.

Innovators in the design and manufacture of next generation power solutions, True Blue Power is harnessing the power of Nanophosphate® lithium-ion cell technology.

All True Blue Power products are housed in signature true-blue casing and combine proven technology with the superior quality, ingenuity and decades of experience that customers have come to expect from Mid-Continent Instrument Company. Current production includes aircraft inverters and power supplies.

Manufacturing — True Blue Power products are sold to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), qualified avionics and instrument shops, FAA repair stations and fixed base operators (FBOs).

Distribution — As the worldwide distributor of A123 Systems’ Nanophosphate lithium-ion cells for the aviation industry, True Blue Power offers custom-design power solutions to qualified OEMs, battery development and service organizations.

True Blue Power sells FAA TSO and non-TSO lithium-ion cells through a simple order process.



Mid-Continent Instrument Company

What began as a small repair station for Wichita’s growing aircraft industry in 1964 has become a worldwide overhaul/repair facility and major OEM manufacturer employing more than 165 people in two locations — Wichita, Kansas, and Van Nuys, California.

For more than 49 years, Mid-Continent Instrument Company has embraced a commitment to engineering, quality and service. Today, Mid-Continent has the expertise to overhaul nearly 6,000 different products. Additionally, Mid-Continent designs and builds new products for almost every general aviation manufacturer and provides specialized aftermarket products worldwide.

Mid-Continent initiates rigorous internal quality control and inspection processes to ensure top performance of everything that goes out the door. As an FAA/EASA-authorized repair station, Mid-Continent understands that attention to detail is critical.

New products comply with AS9100 Aerospace Standards that exceed stringent FAA certification requirements. These products are engineered to outperform and outlast older designs, resulting in lightweight products with enhanced safety features.
